This Class A office building, rising to more than 200 meters, anchors a mixed use district along the Qiantang River in downtown Hangzhou. This area will be well served by transit lines and local arterial streets and the neighborhood is home to a range of commercial, entertainment and residential uses.

The composition faces a large public park along one edge with like sized full block projects along the other frontages. The program includes three discreet elements: a tower organized to establish a local vertical landmark; a gracious landscaped plaza at grade to provide local open space for the buildings tenants; and a three story winter garden which doubles as a retail arcade. The park and drop-off area are framed by the office block and the winter and the adjacent building facades.

The building sets back at three levels to match datum lines already defined in established parts of the district. Parallel to this massing is a differentiated exterior wall design that mixes high performance glazing with lightly colored granite panels.
